We will make additional announcements regarding dates and locations at a later date. The Small Library Management Training Program is an ongoing, voluntary program that provides management skills to nonMLIS library staff of small community (25,000 or less population) libraries in Texas. Each session is tailored to provide essential management skills for library professionals who are responsible for (or would like to learn more about) planning, creating and justifying budgets, hiring and supervising staff, ordering and weeding library materials, and developing policies. The program consists of five two-day workshops in five locations around the state offered over a two and one half year period.
