As you may or may not be aware, the culture pamphlets (Afro-American, Belgian, Czech, French, German, Greek, Indian, Italian, and Jewish Texans) from ITC are being updated and expanded by Texas A&M Press. Available later in the Spring, they are combining the groups into 5 Books (African Texans, Indian Texans, Asian Texans, Mexican Texans, and the European Texans). ITC has some of the 9 original pamphlets available and have reduced the price to close them out prior to the release of the new editions. They originally sold for $4.95 each, closeout price is $2.25 each. The original pamphlets will never be available again. Once they are closed out that is it, so if you need to replace old or missing copies now is the time. If you have the current version of TEKS, TAKS and the TEXAS CONNECTION, they are listed on page 150. Each pamphlet begins with the groups arrival in Texas. Descriptions of major settlements and significant contributions, along with mini biographies of the major figures. Each contains 32 pages and contains illustrations and photos.
