70 of the 76 CTLS member libraries were represented at the recent regional meetings to discuss governance for CTLS. 174 librarians and lay representatives attended. 74 of the 76 member libraries have submitted surveys. 64 members (84%) support changing from an MRC system to a nonprofit regional system. 8 members are undecided, and 2 members do not plan to ask their governing body to approve a resolution. 22 member librarians or lay representatives want to serve on committees to implement the change to a nonprofit system (others are already serving on the Advisory Council and other committees).
