At Lampasas we do not have such a policy and this is a problem with only a
couple of patrons. We have however, limited checkouts to this kind of
patrons to one or two itmes at a time. Hope this is helpful.

Subject: Consistently Late Patrons

We have a couple of patrons who are consistently late returning their
materials. We call them, we send them late notices and eventually they will
come in and return items, pay their fines and head for the stacks again,
check out more materials and when their due date comes up, we start the
complete process over again. How do you handle this type of patron? Do any
of you have a policy that allows you to cancel a card for consistently
having overdue items? Any and all input is appreciated!
