We also had a problem with disappearing headphones so we no longer have any left to check out. Public headphones gross me out a bit anyway! I purchased a large quantity of cheap ear buds and we now sell them for a $1 to people that do not have there own headphones. This has worked well for us. Heidi B. Selecting "Reply to All" will send a message to the entire list. --------------------------------------------------------- We are having a rash of theft of headphones at the public computers. We would like to know if you check them out (from where? Circulation or reference desk); do you tell patrons to furnish their own set of headphones. Either way-we would give lots of advance notice about which way we were going. It's so easy to plug in a headphone now so that shouldn't pose a problem. Thanks for your help. Clara B.
