We are not a non-profit library but we have a non-profit library
foundation board. The question about auditing surfaced when we applied
for a grant which required seeing a financial audit report. In the past
we have done it every four years. The board decided that we should do
an audit at least every other year if not every year so we can qualify
for grants. I have to say it is very expensive to have a full audit
done.

Thanks

Subject: [ctls-l] Audits

A non-profit member library would like to know if other non-profit
libraries are audited annually.

There is no problem or concern; the question was raised at a recent
board meeting.

Please reply to the list.

Thanks!

Laurie
