--- Begin Message ----Caveat Lector-norg, i should back up a bit and clarify my position -- i do not accuse or suspect kevin and his site of being willfully part of some bad agenda. his work strikes me as very sincere, but in my opinion deluded on some ideological points. so i'm just criticizing the fact that, the way i see it, he's including some disinfo memes that are harmful. i'm saying this as someone who used to think the same way in many respects, up until about a year ago. one can look at other ideologies and see similar problems... for instance, i think that the vast majority of marxists and trotskyists really sincerely believe that a "world revolution" to end the existence of nation-states is a way to liberate the masses from oppression, but they don't stop to think about how this plays into the hands of globalists who also want to eliminate nation-states to make way for a global government. similarly, i think there are many people who are absolutely sincere in their belief that radical "localism", romantic individualism, and anti-statism are a way to supposedly save us from big brother, without looking to see who exactly has been promoting these beliefs over the generations, and the hidden reasons why. but i apologize if i came across as accusing cryptogon of being a front... i just think their message is a bit contaminated. i get a bit worked up because i think we're going to see serious worldwide implications of certain widespread disinfo memes in our near future. i believe that the NWO's currently accelerating hype about supposed resource & environmental crises is intimately related to long-running psyops concerning anti-statism and agrarian / utopian ideologies, as per my ideas of an ongoing dialectic that i shared in my last email. as for trotskyists and chossudovsky, here's something from the 4th international from a couple year's back, which denounces chossudovsky's advocacy of restoring the nation-state as a defence against globalisation (it's not an example of what i would call a "savage attack", which i have seen from marxists elsewhere, but the ideological fundamentalism is clear. true marxists are actually not statist; they are very anti-statist when it comes to current forms of constitutional representative democracy, and they spread the dangerous myth that implementing any changes to ownership & distribution of weath requires demolishing constitutional representative democracy, i.e. the "bourgeois state". i tend to believe that the marxist psy-op was created mainly for this purpose.) http://www.wsws.org/articles/2000/feb2000/cho1-f21.shtml (i don't see the cryptogon site as promoting this particular brand of ideology, from what i've seen, but manichean anti-state and anti-"hierarchy" rhetoric lead strongly to similar positions, from a different angle.) one notable thing about trotskyists is that they tend to support free trade, a position which goes back to marx & engels, because they assert (correctly) that free trade accelerates the destruction of nation-states, thus in their view accelerating their opportunities for "world revolution". an interesting example: http://users.cyberone.com.au/myers/xTrots.html hart & negri's "empire" is another example of current radical neo-marxist theory which fervently denounces the thought of restoring the nation-state against globalization. in a related vein, the overblown efforts of radicals chomsky, zinn, and the like to rubbish the constitutional founders strike me as a left-gatekeeper firebreak against the possibility of progressives endorsing a comeback of the old federalist american system ideas. every single mention of tariffs and other american system policies in zinn's "people's history of the US" is incredibly negative, portraying such things as the schemes of a 'rich white men' statist conspiracy to centralize power. zinn's book came out in the late 80s -- good timing for the powers-that-be, with NAFTA soon to be on the table. -brian On Jul 15, 2004, at 7:39 PM, norgessen wrote: > Brian, > > > I have my doubts that Kevin is part of a psyop aimed at helping the > global governance advocates.
