Brian uses the term neolib in the correct sense. I use it all
the time in a wrong sense as a label for corporate propaganda
that is fake liberal, but in every case I use it the respective
corporate entities can only get away with propagandizing
because information rightly belonging to the taxpayer is
regulated in a sense or suppressed, while corporation
activities harmful to people have access in the breach
where knowledge is prevented and regulation appropriate
to such knowledge is absent. At that point my wrong use
of neolib becomes correct, since lack of regulation of
corporate activity is a factor hidden by a fake liberal
or what I term "neolib" facade.
Examples would be all the taxpayer-funded fluoride hazard
studies on industrial hazards, water and air hazard to workers,
neighbors and animals and crops and plants and wildlife and
tissues and organs, which info was "regulated" or suppressed,
while corporations went neoliberally unregulated and sold
harmful products under fake liberal guise of reducing
cavities--fluoride toothpaste and water supply. Production
of aluminum and atomic weapons for war both produced a
lot of workplace and environmental fluoride pollution, and
the fake liberal or "neolib" turnabout using dental ploy,
and children as usual, was initiated by Alcoa after WWI,
then picked up by Manhattan Project during WWII.
The whole pyramid of fluoride disinfo came under the
domain of one CIA agent, Harold Hodge. CIA was interested
in fluoride as a mind control drug to dumb down and make
subservient the lower and middle classes who attend public
school and drink from unfiltered public water supplies.
Sometimes nepotism is as easy as arriving at a convergence
of neoliberal deregulation of regulation or suppression of
taxpayer-funded studies and neoliberal deregulation of
profitable harm forbidden by those studies.

thanks for the props. unfortunately i don't yet have a lot of research
