That's not what I said. Don't put words in my mouth. I said, I say, and I
will continue to say that Christians have raped, murdered, stolen and
enslaved more than any other single group in history, though their first
cousins the Muslim run a fairly close second. I say this because it is
the truth. Commies aren't even in the running. They were flash-in-the-pans
and lasted less then a century. As for the Nazis, it remains to be seen.
At the moment, they are doing better than ever, epecially since they
switched shirt colors to white. "Tarnug" this is called in German, "The
magical hood that renders it wearer invisable."
I'm not saying (necessarily) that Christians have committed their
depredations for a millinia and a half BECAUSE they were Christians. I DO
say that Christianity did not make them refrain.

You're welcome to believe that if you want. I don't. I'm also tired of
hearing about it. I don't need "died for." I take full responsibility for
my own actions and their consequences, and for nobody else's. I do,
however, appreciate your concern for what you consider my immortal soul.

I do believe that there was probably a real live guy named Jesus who was
apparantly a pretty nice guy, smart, compassionate, and articulate. How
much of what he is alleged to have said he actually did say, there is no
way to know for sure. How much of what he actually said was censored from
scripture by those who exploit and distort his story for their own ends
is also impossible to tell. Much, would be a good guess. Reincarnation,
for example, was part of Christian belief until it was voted out at the
Council of Nicea and scripture was "adjusted" accordingly.
