Speaking of conspiracies, I've often wondered about the mortuary
business.
Most of us know absolutely nothing about the business until a loved one
dies, then we are dragged into a number of unpleasant considerations in
order "to make arrangements" for the recently departed. Of course, the
business is interacting with families and individuals at a time of crisis,
and the possibilities for abuse are certainly there.
I've always wondered just how
credible many of these organizations really are. Is Uncle Joseph really
buried in the right grave? Were his remains treated respectfully? The
business, of course, is licensed and regulated...but one wonders.
Hmmmmmmmm....
