Then there's the confrontation between those who see the world in
binary terms, as good|evil, black|white, yes|no, true|false; and
those who see reality in more nuanced terms, as a multicolored
analog display, with fuzzier logic - where, because reality is
always-changing and partially-hidden, our explanations evaluate
to some combinations of:
maybe (true and/or false and/or unknowable and/or irrelevant
and/or trivial)
rather than to the overly-simplistic: true or false
Binary logic is fast, convenient, but doesn't render reality
very accurately. Analog logic is slow, problematic, but gives
a truer and more usable picture of what's around us. Choose.
