If it bites my ass but not yours, it's real for me but not for you.
If it bites your ass but not mine, it's real for you but not for me.
If it bites my ass and your ass and their asses, it's real for us.
If we don't bite their asses, we're unreal for them; so, to become
real for them, we must bite their asses; and for them to become
real for us, they must bite our asses.
But: just because something doesn't bite my ass, doesn't mean it
doesn't exist somewhere else, biting someone else's ass - just
because *I* don't experience the reality, doesn't invalidate
that reality. If it bites my ass, I *know* it's real; if it
doesn't bite my ass, I can't be sure; if it bites everybody's
asses, we can form a consensus about its reality; if some folks
aren't bitten, they're probably excluded from that consensus.
And: just because some moron believes that it bit his ass, doesn't
mean that I have to share that belief, especially if my ass is
still pristine, and if the moron's ass was already well-munched.
