Abraham Lincoln was the Chief Magistrate. Preservation of the Union? As President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln had a duty to abide by the limitations imposed by the Constitution of the United States. This he did not do. His actions within Maryland in the late spring of 1861 were not within the constituted duties of the Presidency. The President of the United States is not empowered to invade the States party to the Constitution. So what union was Abraham Lincoln preserving? The more perfect union constituted for the United States of America dissolved with the collapse of the Congress of the United States Assembled in December of 1861. With the termination of the Lincoln Administration in April of 1861, the Rump Congress of the United States embarked upon reconstructing the governments within the States of America. Not to preserve the Union, but to empower the Social Democracy. This Reconstruction is and has been ongoing since the first reconstruction Act passed over the Chief Magistrate's veto in March of 1867. The Military Occupant reconstructed the state Republics, and empowered its civil administrator this State with the constitutional codification of the Reconstruction Acts. This reconstruction of the United States of America was codified in April of 1868 with the adoption of the 14th Amendment under the barrel of a Gun. This Amendment empowered the Congress of the United States (Section 5) to dictate its polity from the shores of the Potomac, subverted the state Republics and empowered the Social Democracy. The United States operates as a commercial agency. In order to participate within its jurisdiction, an American must step into commerce. On July 13th, 1861, the Rump Congress of the United States empowered the Chief Magistrate to license people in commerce within the states in insurrection and obstruction of the laws of the United States. This licensing authority was further enhanced on October 6th, 1917, and March 9th, 1933. The Union of state Republics is the empowerment of the people under the Laws of Nature's God.
