This is true. However, the guests were there to announce God's covenant
with Abraham (and the imminent appearance of Isaac), the beginning of
Judaism. Since Judaism was in its embryonic state at this time, the
laws forbidding "seeth[ing] a kid in its mothers milk" had not yet been
codified. That wasn't done until Moses' time, several hundred years
later. Perhaps Joshua or Michael can fill in some more details........
