Well Goat your observations are sad but true. After all this time things
are more or less the same.
I remember a technique I learned in art class once. The teacher told us to
squint real hard and look at the subject. The idea was to see the shape of
the subject and not be distracted by the details. If you squint at the last
2000, or even 12000 years, what is the shape of history?
