This was a truly excellent post. Mr. Goat is one of the best writers on
religio-history and philosophy in general. I am somewhat dumbfounded
sometimes when I read his posts because they so COMPLETELY encapsulate my
thoughts it is almost as if he is reading my mind! DasGoat please remove the
modulated MW beam, and come up with your own ideas! (LOL) Anyway let me say
this. The pseudo-Christianity of Paul which is, in effect, the ONLY
Christianity that we know in the West, is a tool of political and societal
control and has been since day one. It boils down to what Paul says in his
writings; OBEY YOUR LEADERS, no matter what, let God judge them. In other
words take no responsibility for changing that which is immoral and illegal,
and inhuman. Let it rest in the hands of an ineffective God that is
somewhere "out there" who will "in his own good time" will "make them pay."
This is only a recipe for disaster. Whether you believe in Jesus as the
Messiah or Christ, it can be seen that much of what he taught (NOT the crap
that Paul left us) is from a social revolutionary viewpoint, and that he TOOK
STEPS to change that which he saw which was wrong. He had some good things
to say to us today living under the oppression of the Empire Fascistii.
