Then why quote Leviticus? If you, or anyone else who feels the Bible

Not really. It states that some women 'exchanged natural passions for
unnatural', but the nature of those 'natural passions' is not explained;
while it is spelled out that men were 'consumed with passion for one

And the bottom line is, this is PAUL writing...we have not one word for

But what was being condemned was the worshipping of false gods, of which
ritual prostitution was one element. In the passages where homosexuality
is prohibited, the original Hebrew refers to ritual prostitution, not a
private relationship between those of the same sex.
Also mentioned in Romans 1:29-30 are those who are "...filled with all
manner of wickedness, evil, covetousness, malice. Full of envy, murder,
strife, deceit, malignity, they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God,
insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to
parents..."
It's interesting that homophobes utilize this passage in Romans to
justify their own wickedness, evil, malice, strife, malignity,
haughtiness...and in some cases, murder.
