Then these politicians are making individual choices to place their
loyalties in the corporations and not to the people they are ostensibly in
office to serve. I'm in no way denying that this is occurring - quite the
contrary in fact. This is why I believe that these politician need to
actually be held accountable for their actions - as all individuals need to
be. Just because an offer is made by a corporation doesn't mean that the
politicians, or anyone for that matter, has to accept it. So, we are back
to individual choice, responsibility and accountability. It's pretty simple
if you stick to an honorable "formula." You can throw all the confusion you
want at it, but it boils down to individual choice. The question is then,
did he/she make a good choice, an honorable choice?
