You must have skimmed through my post rather quick. If you notice, it was a
question, not an answer. I was hoping for a response from someone who had an
abortion, what their thoughts may be. The point I was making is that to some
people, an abortion is something done without enough thought, that comes back
to haunt them. It would make more sense to me if all men had vasectomies and
froze their sperm for later in life, should he and his partner decide they
want children, then unwanted pregnancies would be kept to a minimum.

I imagine MOST probably put days of thought in to this decision. Read my
post again, I wasn't second guessing anyone, but relating my own personal
experiences. Age may also be a factor since these women were all in their
late 30's early 40's. I would think that a woman who was really comfortable
with her decision would probably be ok with her decision. 17 may be just a
little young to make a decision that could affect you for the rest of your
life.
Any ladies out there that have had an abortion, or know someone who has -
have some light to shed on this subject? I would appreciate some comments
about whether or not this has come back to haunt them, or didn't make any
difference.
