Turkey put Moscow seven minutes from launch. The Russians returned the
favor. I don't blame them.
Imagine you are facing a guy with a pistol aimed at your head. You have a
pistol pointed at his head. Stalemate. Then he wipes the safety on his
pistol. What do you do? I'd wipe my safety. If you wouldn't, you're a fool.
Then there's the Cuban's point of view. Remember the Bay of Pigs? Imagine
a very large bully attacks you. You luck out and land one on a sensitive
pat of his anatomy. He backs off. What do you do next? Turn your back on
him and hope for the best? I don't think so.
