This is a list for the discussion of conspiracy theories. It is not a place
for members to post their personal opinions of other members. I am fairly
certain that the majority of the list members do not care what the personal
opinions of others might be. Those of us who have been around a while have
learned to accept the personalities of certain list members. Their
contributions far outweigh any personal slights, both real and imagined. If
you shake their tree, both J2 & Nessie will respond about threefold (rule
of Karma, BTW). I do not mean that literally--they do not live in a tree
and are both extremely intelligent--figure of speech only. My point is that
if you keep your personal opinions to yourselves and most definitely
OFFLIST, we shall all be spared these exchanges.
And that is good advice for anybody on this list. Do not assume the list to
be fascinated by your every thought and opinion about other list members.
Some of us have been here for years and know each other well. We do not
care what you think of others. It is boring. I have worn the paint off my
delete key. Take it off list. Spare us. Do not come back using a
different name and try to fool us. By us, I am speaking for myself and any
others who have been on this list for some time and share this sentiment.
This used to be a wonderful list! Tremendous amounts of information were
exchanged daily without opinions of the posters. We understood posting
without endorsement. We respected each others' intelligence, opinions and
basic rights. Debates were for intellectual stimulation and not to
personally smear another list member because we did not like their posts. If
you do not like another member's posts, do not read their future posts but
do not attack the poster. Anybody over the age of twelve that thinks their
opinions of other individuals are so "special" they must be shared need to
grow up! And speaking solely for myself, I don't give a rip but am tired of
having the long-standing members here blasted daily with this personal
garbage. If you don't like the lists, posts and people on the list you might
ask yourself why you are here in the first place.
