Kris,
I am honored to be considered. I will forward questions off-list, however I
am sure we will all become more tolerant of the opinions of others, won't
we, Listers? When new on the list, we will quietly read enough posts to get
a feel for the list as a whole and for individual posters before making
critical, judgmental comments and then keep them off list and only to the
party involved, won't we? We will show our respect for the beliefs of
others by keeping our posts of an informational nature only, won't we? We
will keep the discussion of religion to the purpose of the list, conspiracy
theories, and not make assumptions about the beliefs of others.
I like to think that the members of this list have somewhat above average
intelligence thence their interest in complex subjects. Surely we can each
ask ourselves if our posts are real information in which some , if not most,
of the list members would be interested. While long-standing members often
post their opinions, these are opinions about subjects, not other list
members. Very seldom do we old-timers attack personally. (Exception would
be J2 and FWP but they earn that right by conveying tons of info in their
spirited discussion. This is not the same as sharing with us that you think
so-and-so is a jerk--big difference!)
I have limited time to devote to moderating with legal problems and about a
thousand caladium bulbs in planting process but certainly want to help in
any way I can. This is my favorite list. It has given much to me and I
would like to return something to it. If I can be of assistance, I will be
honored to do so.
Amelia

DECLARATION & DISCLAIMER
==========
CTRL is a discussion & informational exchange list. Proselytizing propagandic
screeds are unwelcomed. Substancenot soap-boxingplease! These are sordid
matters
and 'conspiracy theory'with its many half-truths, misdirections and outright
fraudsis used politically by different groups with major and minor effects
spread throughout the spectrum of time and thought. That being said, CTRL
gives no endorsement to the validity of posts, and always suggests to readers;
be wary of what you read. CTRL gives no credence to Holocaust denial and
nazi's need not apply.
Let us please be civil and as always, Caveat Lector.
