I agree whole heartedly. Keyword: we. Not politicians, but we ourselves
must do it.
The corporate-government complex can not be influenced by voting because
we only get to vote for a very few of the people involved and none of them
are the ones with the real power. Washington DC is a front. The real
power is held by the boards of directors of the corporations, not by
congress or the president.
When the boards of directors of the corporations can be elected by the
public at large, then and only then will we be on our way to real
democracy. This thing we have now is a fraud and a sham.
