Diana was not only a silly twat, but a mindless playgirl who was more interested in
having her nails done and
partying with friends at the trendiest disco than in any weighty, political or
philosophical matters.
What she WAS savvy at was knowing a good photo op, a knack that she utilized not only
to keep herself in the
public eye but to paint herself as a humanitarian. That way she got herself nominated
to boards of various
charitable groups, groups that paid for her to be sent all over the world on photo ops
that would benefit that
specific charity. But she never, ever, spent any time actually WORKING for any of
these organizations on a
day-to-day basis.
She herself described her vacuous, meaningless life a year before her death, where in
a news article she
described her typical day as going to a gym in the morning, having lunch at a trendy
restaurant with friends
at midday, having her nails or hair done in the afternoon, and then spending the
evening at some trendy disco
with friends. Sometimes the routine varied, and she got her nails or hair done in the
morning and went to the
gym in the afternoon.
This was her TYPICAL day, as she herself described it. No mention of any meaningful
WORK. No mention of even
DESIRING anything meaningful to do to fill her days.
