I'll accept that but only as a subjective conclusion as I've seen truth
spelled as "Truth" by many philosophers, mystics, poets and not all of
them were lying in any overt manner. Most were trying to accentuate the
import of the concept of truth in their writing. It can be validly argued
that their concept of truth (or "Truth") was false; however, I'm not sure
it would be fair to accuse them of either explicitly or implicitly of
lying. Romantic poets capitalized words like truth or nature to
distinguish between an abstract concept and the personified or more
substantial concept with which they wished to imbue those words. If Keats
had chosen to write "Beauty is [T]ruth, [T]ruth beauty" rather than the
uncapitalized line he did write I don't believe he would have gone from
poet to liar with one grammatical turn. Once again though I accept your
view as far too many zealots, both secular and religious, have made
spurious claims to being the oracle of "Truth".
