Chupacabra Skull Subjected Scientific Scrutiny From Scott Corrales
** The animal was hunted by a peasant who preserved its skull as a
trophy. The skull
subsequently fell into the hands of researchers **
(Terra) - Scientists of the Universidad Austral de Chile are dumbfounded
by an enigmatic animal
skull, since they are at a loss to ascertain to what animal or species
it belongs. The animal was
apparently last January in the Arique Sector of Antihue (Tenth Region)
by a farmer who had
reported the strange deaths of a large number of birds, particularly
geese. Last May, the same
farmer reported that he had killed a strange creature.
The hunter preserved the only the head as a trophy and cast the rest of
the body into a river. He
later reported that since that day, he hears the sound of distant
howling in the evening. It is his
belief that [the source of the howling] is the lonely female that
accompanied the animal and
continues prowling the region in search of her mate.
The skull was ultimately delivered to Universidad Austral. However,
after four months of intense
research, in which DNA samples were connected, it now turns out that the
skull has left scientists
dumbfounded, as they have been unable to determine the exact nature of
the beast in question.
The discovery of this species has been qualified as "very interesting"
by the scientific community
itself, because "we are dealing with a medium-sized animal which would
have gone unnoticed by
science for approximately one century."

- HIGH STRANGENESS IN CHILE DEPARTMENT -
Giant UFO Abducts two People in Northern Chile - From Scott Corrales
On Thursday, October 19, 2000, at 7 p.m., teacher Joan Rojas Moffett was
chatting with some
colleagues in a second-floor classroom at the Escola San Francisco
(school) in Chiu-Chiu, village
in northern Chile about 40 kilometers (25 miles) from Calama, when he
saw a bright light in the
dark sky.
"It appeared in the northeast, split in two and then lost itself in the
south," Rojas said, "I thought,
What the hell!? but didn't comment on it to anyone until later in the
evening when everyone saw
the object and heard the noise." That was the beginning.
Three hours later, at 10 p.m., 35 adults, members of the local branch of
the General Center of
Parents and Attorneys were holding a meeting at the school. Twenty
children were playing in the
schoolyard, waiting for the meeting to end. They heard a weird sound,
and then the UFO
appeared.
Students Rene Calpa Carranza and Walter Anza Vilca stated that the
object, which was
predominantly white in color with blue, red and yellow flashing lights,
hovered above the
schoolyard. A number of the children also recalled 'a burning odor.
As the UFO hovered overhead, a panel slid open on the underside of the
craft, and a dazzling light
beam stabbed downward, bathing two people in its unearthly glow.
Struck by the beam were Sra. Fresia Vega, the school custodian, and
student Valentina Rojas
Espinoza, age 8. The pair instantly vanished.
According to Monica Espinoza Fernandez, "The children were outdoors and
were the witnesses,
although not in the same way as Fresia and Valentina, and they (the
other children) called for the
meeting to end and the parents to come outside and see for themselves
what was taking place.
However, at this precise moment, we heard an enormous blast, much louder
than the shattering of
glass. It was not an earthquake or explosives or anything like that. The
meeting went was ended,
and everyone went outside for a look."
The stunned adults saw "a spaceship that was hovering no higher than 'a
four-story building." The
eye-dazzling beam then switched off, and the UFO zoomed away to the
south and disappeared as
it reached the Chiu-Chiu cemetery.
Fresia Vega and Valentina Espinoza were found, dazed and shivering, a
short distance away. In
an interview with the newspaper El Mercurio de Calama, Fresia Vega said,
"It was a very large
ship, about the size of a soccer field, surrounded by lights of every
imaginable color. In the middle
of it there was a door from which there came a light that blinded me and
left me paralyzed. I felt
myself being sucked in through the door, and I felt a tingling sensation
all over my body. Voices
became far, far away, and I froze. That's when I realized I must have
passed out because I
remember nothing at all. I then felt the door was being shut with a
sound like that or iron, and the
shop looked like it was surrounded by light. Twenty-four hours have gone
by, and I still haven't
recovered from it."
Much like the custodian, Valentina Rojas Expinoza said, "I felt cold,
and my blood froze. I was
very scared, and I hid behind Fresia, but then I looked up and
everything was clear, as when day
breaks. I would speak to Sra. Fresia but she didn't answer me. She
couldn't speak, and it was as if
she had gone away. I was very scared."
There is an intriguing time discrepancy in the accounts of the
eyewitnesses. Both Fresia and
Valentina reported being in the light for two or three minutes. But the
children in the schoolyard
said they were "gone for two or three seconds."
Monica Espinoza Fernandez, who was still inside the school, reported,
"I felt nothing, but my
daughter (Valentina) who was with the children and suddenly came in to
tell me. I paid her no
mind until I saw that Fresia was frightened."
UFO reports poured into the regional office of the Carabineros from all
over El Loa province,
also known as the Second Region.
Parmedic Enrique Alvarez said, 'My colleagues in Ayquina and Caspana
also saw the object.
Earlier, at 7 p.m., "a veritable flood of sightings took place in the
towns of El Loa province,
particularly in Calama, Chuquicamata and the towns bordering Argentina,"
such as San Pablo de
Atacama.
In Calama and Chuquicamata, there was a single sighting at 10 p.m. of a
UFO the size of a soccer
field that filled the area with light and turned night into day. In
Caspana, in the foothills of the
Cordillera, a witness suffered a nervous breakdown after seeing the
craft.
Eyewitness accounts forced the Carabineros to open an investigation
which is being conducted
with great secrecy. But there are police officers who were in the middle
of their rounds who had
seen the lights.

High Amounts of Atmospheric Barium the Result of Chemtrails?
The unusual presence of the element barium in the atmosphere now appears
to have been affirmed
through the methods of spectroscopy. Spectroscopy is "the study of the
absorption and emission
of light and other radiation by matter, as related to the dependence of
these processes on the
wavelength of the radiation" (Enc. Brittanica).
The results of the current research are now sufficient to establish an
analytical basis for the formal
investigation of radical atmospheric changes induced by relatively
recent aircraft aerosol
operations. This work further confirms the recent findings that have
substantiated the unusual
presence of an alkaline salt form in the atmosphere, as revealed through
recent pH tests conducted
across the country. Barium compounds, especially those of a soluble
nature, are regarded as a
serious health risk, and they are commonly associated with respiratory
distress.
Research by this method will continue, but preliminary results are
provided because of the
importance of the findings and to support the claims that are made
herein. It is recommended that
other researchers across the country participate within this endeavor,
in an effort to further refine
the results of the study. Spectroscopy provides an analytic tool that
can be used to establish the
presence or absence of certain foreign elements in the atmosphere that
have been under
consideration for some time.

Drugs Accumulating In Sewage Sludge, Surface Waters, and Drinking Water
Findings presented at the first major American symposium on
pharmaceuticals in water, held as
part of the American Chemical Society's spring national meeting in San
Francisco last week, said
that water pollution by drugs "is a newly emerging issue," according to
Christian G. Daughton,a
symposium co-organizer and chief of environmental chemistry at the
Environmental Protection
Agency's National Exposure Research Laboratory in Las Vegas.
EPA scientists examining the sludge from a U.S. sewage-treatment plant
20 years ago found that
the incoming sewage contained excreted aspirin, caffeine, and nicotine.
At about the same time,
the cholesterol-lowering drug clofibric acid turned up in a groundwater
reservoir being used by
the Phoenix, AZ area. The drug had entered with treated sewage, which
the city had been using to
replenish the aquifer.
Experts at that time didn't pay attention to the finding. It should have
been a wake-up call, experts
now argue, because if clofibric acid could pass through a
sewage-treatment plant and percolate
through soil unscathed, so could a host of other drugs.
Now new studies by Chris Metcalfe of Trent University in Peterborough,
Ontario, reports finding
a broad mix of drugs, including anticancer agents, psychiatric drugs,
and anti-inflammatory
compounds. "Levels of prescription drugs that we have leaving
sewage-treatment plants in
Canada are sometimes higher than what's being seen in Germany," he says.
He explains that many North American cities employ more rudimentary
sewage treatment than
those in Germany. Daughton observes also that some 1 million U.S. homes
send their essentially
untreated sewage directly into the environment.
Two years ago, the symposium's other co-organizer, Thomas A. Ternes,
documented
unexpectedly high concentrations of drugs "many measured in parts per
billion (ppb)" both in raw
sewage and in water leaving treatment plants in Germany. The chemist,
who is at the Institute for
Water Research and Water Technology in Wiesbaden, Germany, now finds
that these drugs enter
groundwater.
Sewage effluent can amount to at least half the water in many of
Germany's smaller rivers, he
notes. Groundwater fed by streams carrying relatively undiluted effluent
can be tainted with 1 ppb
carbamazepine, an anticonvulsive drug. Ternes has also detected similar
amounts of the
anti-inflammatory drug diclofenac and up to 2.4 ppb of iodine-based
drugs used to improve
contrast in X rays.
Because people discard their excess drugs, the town dump can also be a
source of pharmaceutical
pollution. Under one landfill, Ternes found groundwater tainted with 12
ppb clofibric acid and 1
ppb phenazone, an analgesic.
The latter medication also turned up in groundwater "but at far higher
concentrations" under a
leaking dump in Zagreb, Croatia, notes Marijan Ahel of the Rudjer
Boskovic Institute in Zagreb.
Some of his water samples had the drug at as much as 50 times the
concentration detected by
Ternes. In the United States, federal scientists recently began probing
another source of drug
pollution's large feedlots for livestock. An estimated 40 percent of the
antibiotics produced in the
United States is fed to livestock as growth enhancers.
Geochemist Mike Meyer of the U.S. Geological Survey in Raleigh, N.C.,
and his colleagues have
begun looking for antibiotics in hog-waste lagoons.
Three drugs frequently show up, one in concentrations approaching 1 part
per million. The same
three antibiotics, which are also prescribed for people, often appear in
local waters, though usually
only at one-tenth to one-hundredth the concentrations in the lagoons,
Meyer notes. "So, it
appears we're getting transport of these antibiotics into surface and
groundwater's," he told
Science News.
His colleagues at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in
Atlanta have begun sampling
bacteria from the tainted waters to investigate their responses to the
antibiotics present, Meyer
says. Their findings could begin to resolve a long-standing question:
What is the contribution, if
any, of livestock to potentially dangerous reservoirs of bacteria
resistant to common antibiotics?
Traces of drugs are sometimes making it all the way into tap water.
Thomas Heberer of the
Technical University of Berlin reported finding traces of at least
three pharmaceuticals in samples
from his home tap. The concentrations, however, were near the limits of
detection, a few parts
per trillion. Moreover, he found that running this water through an
activated-carbon filter removes
all vestiges of the drugs.
Ternes' studies confirm that two disinfection agents "activated carbon
and ozone'" which are used
in many European drinking-water plants, generally remove any traces of
drugs. It's because these
relatively costly technologies aren't employed for treating sewage, he
notes, that a large share of
the drugs flushed down toilets can reach open waters.
To date, the symposium's scientists noted, few if any toxicological
studies have evaluated risks
posed by chronic exposure to trace concentrations of drugs. Most of the
participants suspect,
however, that the biggest risks face aquatic life, which may be bathed
from cradle to grave in a
solution of drugs of increasing concentration and potency.
David Epel of Stanford University's Hopkins Marine Station in Pacific
Grove, Calif., expressed
special concern about new drugs called efflux-pump inhibitors. Designed
to keep microbes from
ejecting the antibiotics intended to slay them efflux-pump inhibitors
also impede the cellular
pumps that nearly all animals use to get rid of toxicants, he says. If
pump-inhibiting drugs enter
the aquatic environment, Epel worries that they might render wildlife
vulnerable to
concentrations of pollution that had previously been innocuous.

Uri Geller Sues Nintendo Over Cartoon Monster
Psychic Uri Geller sued Nintendo for hundreds of millions of dollars on
Wednesday, claiming that
the Japanese game-maker turned him into an "evil, occult Pokemon
character'' by naming a
monster in the blockbuster cartoon series after him. And both he and his
lawyer suggested that
there were elements of anti-Semitism in the character's depiction.
Geller, a former Israeli paratrooper famous for using mysterious mental
powers to bend spoons,
said that Nintendo Co. Ltd. (7974.OS) "debased'' his name with the
Pokemon character, a
monster named "Yun Geller'' who carries a spoon and uses psychic
mind-waves to give his victims
bad headaches.
A Redmond, Washington, spokesman for Nintendo of America Inc., the
company's U.S.
subsidiary, said he could not immediately comment on the lawsuit, which
was filed in U.S. District
Court in Los Angeles.
"Nintendo turned me into an evil, occult Pokemon character, ''Geller
said in a statement.
"Nintendo stole my identity by using my name and my signature image of a
bent spoon.''
Geller's lawyer, Marshall Grossman, said he would seek ''hundreds of
millions'' of dollars in
damages and to force Nintendo to pull the character from its products.
Geller said he filed the
lawsuit to protect his name ``but also to tell the world before the
start of the holiday season that I
have nothing whatsoever to do with these violent characters that have a
negative impact on
children.''
Geller, who was born in Israel and now lives in England, said he was
particularly offended that the
Pokemon monster is depicted with lightning bolts on his chest, which he
said are reminiscent of a
similar symbol used by the Nazi SS. The monster also bears a star on his
forehead, which
Grossman said appeared to be a Star of David.
Grossman said the character, which is found on a Pokemon trading card
and appears sporadically
in cartoons, has a Japanese name which translates in English as "Yun
Geller'' and is usually seen
carrying a spoon.
"Uri Geller is internationally known as a spoon bender,'' Grossman said.
"To duplicate his name
and his signature is bad enough. But to then brand him in an evil way
and place on his character
the German SS lightning bolts and what appears to be a yellow Star of
David is despicable.''
In December 1999, Nintendo stopped production of a Pokemon card after
consumers complained
that an ancient Japanese symbol on it too closely resembled a swastika.
Geller's lawsuit, which
describes him as a "world famous entertainer, author, radio personality
and teacher'' who has
devoted his life to understanding the power of the human mind, claims
that Nintendo's use of
Geller's name could "confuse and deceive'' consumers into thinking that
he endorsed the products.
Pokemon, a Japanese term derived from the English words ''pocket
monster'', is one of the world's
most popular video games and the focus of a youth-based merchandising
phenomenon.
Kyoto-based Nintendo estimates retail sales of franchised products that
range from trading cards
to stuffed toys will top $3 billion this year in the United States
alone.

Strange Object lands in suburbs of Wuzhong, Ningxia
A ball shape UFO dropped from the sky and landed on a road in the
suburbs of Wuzhong,
Ningxia in the early morning hours of Sept. 1. The ball shape object was
recovered and is said to
be 35cm in diameter and 15kg in weight. Hopefully, scientists will be
able to explain more about
the object after they have time to study it.

Part Three of: MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY By C.A. Honey
The Old Testament history of the Israelites under Moses and Joshua is
full of savage, brutal,
conquest of peaceful countries. The Israelites, supposedly under
command of God, undertook
vicious raids of rape and murder, wiping out entire cities to the last
man, woman, or child, except
of course the virgins who were saved for the troops of Israel as I
mentioned earlier. All the wealth
of the opposition was stolen and taken back to Israel.
I don't care who the preacher is, and a few have tried to convince me,
that the rape and murder
was justified and good because God commanded it. The true God would
never do such things.
Obviously, the God they picture in the Old Testament is not the same God
spoken of by Jesus in
the New Testament story.
The following is a summary of what R.A. Torrey wrote in his book
published in 1907 by the
Moody Press in Chicago as part of the COLPORTAGE LIBRARY. While this
book was
published almost 100 years ago it accurately reflects the viewpoints of
modern day theologians. I
will quote selected portions for brevity but none will be taken out of
the context in which they
were originally written.
First Rev. Torrey admits that it is certainly "appalling that any people
should be utterly put to the
sword, not only the men of war, but the old men and old women as well,
and the young women
and the children. But there is SOMETHING EVEN MORE APPALLING than this,
when one
stops to think about the matter�"
Then he continues state that because the people were so full of
rebellion against God "their moral
corruption and debasement so utter and pervasive, even down to babes
just born, as to make such
treatment absolutely necessary in the interests of humanity."
Then Rev. Torrey compares the people with a cancer in the human body. It
is a dreadful operation
to cut the cancer from a living human body "but oftentimes the cutting
out of the cancer is the
kindest thing the surgeon can do under existing circumstances."
In the same manner "THE KINDEST THING GOD COULD DO for the human race
was to cut
out this cancer in every root and fibre." It was "mercy and love, first
of all, to the Israelites" This
was then explained that because the gentile nations were contaminated,
and Israel would not like
to be contaminated themselves, it was necessary to eliminate the gentile
cities and nations.
But continues Rev. Torrey, "what about the women--might not they be
spared? The answer is
very plain. The women were the prime source of the contamination
(Numbers 31:15-16). Though
true women are nobler than true men, depraved women are more dangerous
than depraved men."
Next the discussion turned to little children and babes in arms. Here
is another unbelievable
quote. "The extermination of the Canaanite children was not only an act
of mercy and love to the
world at large, it was also an act of love and mercy to the children
themselves.
"What awaited these children, if they were allowed to live, was
something vastly worse than
death." So now it is stated that tiny innocent babies were put to death
because it was an act of
love to keep them from growing up and spreading the "contamination" to
others around them.
He continues, "Even today I could almost wish that all the babes born in
the slums might be slain
in infancy, were it not for the hope that the church of Christ would
awake and carry to them the
saving Gospel of the Son of God." How is that for a statement from a
Christian professing "love"
for his fellow man?
The statement of Numbers 31:18, and similar verses in other parts of the
Old Testament, are
explained away by saying that when the virgins were divided among the
men of Israel and the
priests, it was not for immoral purposes. Instead, "It was certainly an
act of mercy on God's part
to deliver these �women children' from their evil surroundings and hand
them over to Israel for
training where they would be brought in contact with a PURE RELIGION
(emphasis mine) and
trained up to be pure women.
The only conclusion we can reach, according to the dogma put forth by
the established churches
as well as the cults, is that rape, murder of people and their children
of any age who are
unbelievers or non-Christian, is good and desirable if God commands them
to do it as punishment
for those who might believe differently from established doctrines.
If you do not believe that "demons" led by Satan are the pilots of
"flying saucers," then these
religious groups would feel perfectly justified to "eliminate" you for
your own sake. They would
feel it was an act of "brotherly love" to save you from further
contaminating the human race.
The most unfortunate thing of all is that these modern religious leaders
feel they are in
communication with the Almighty, and if the law allowed, they would not
hesitate to murder any
unbeliever who refused to take their statements on faith alone. They
absolutely refuse to consider
that opinions contrary to their own might be the ones that are true.
They dogmatically believe
that they are right and all other viewpoints are false and should be
eliminated. To them all other
religious groups or denominations are false and only theirs is true.
