Quite frankly, I have found the most respect for women came from conservative
Republican men. Even though we
may have disagreed politically, socially, and/or economically, conservative Republican
men always have
respected my opinion and encouraged thoughtful debate.
OTOH, without exception, when involved in groups of a left-leaning, pro-Democrat
stance, the men to a one
always treated us women as adornments, whose role was to make coffee and to support
the men 'in the great
fight'...
