Saba, it is not that I completely disagree with you.
The idea that a common print of the Gideon's Bible can be
found (and possibly used to translate a series of numbers
into chapter/verse and therefore agenda/method) is not
entirely ridiculous or improbable.
If this were true, then it would only make sense that
this idea has been used by the mainstream media
in the big screen version of "Mission Impossible."
(In the Mission Impossible movie, Tom Cruise
makes contact with a secret operative by use
of coded message and a Gideon's Bible in his
hotel room.)
This method of hiding real ideas in the open,
effectively throws dogs like Joshua2 off track.
Afterall... "THAT idea was in a movie...You
don't really think that this is real...do you?"
I am almost positive that Robert Anton Wilson included
this same Bible "code" in either the Illuminati trilogy or
the "Illuminati Papers."
So-- Saba. Now that we are all clear about what you
are talking about, I doubt that you will take so much
grief for your opinion on this "code."
But, let's make sure that we understand that this is not really
a "code." The actual code would be the series of numbers
which would be required to find the exact page and sentence
in the Gideon's Bible that the operative would decode the
message from.
The code would the sequence of numbers, and the
Gideon's Bible would be the key used for decoding.
This does pose a problem to the paradigm that Saba has
established to this point. Why? Because this type of code
would require that all the motels used by secret operatives
would possess the SAME COPY of Gideon's Bible.
This fact, in and of itself completely destroys the idea
that there was a limited amount of these books which
were handed out on a very special basis.
The "code" would only be useful if there were a large
number of the same version of Gideon's Bibles found
throughout the U.S. in many, many motels/hotels.
If this is then, the "code" of which Saba speaks, then I
(for one) completely understand why it is impossible for
her to "prophecy" from it.
All that Saba or anyone might hope to accomplish,
is to hypothesize about events of the past, trying
to relate and overlay them upon biblical events.
Neither Saba's nor Drosnin's codes can be used to prophecy.
Both Saba's and Drosnin's codes can be observed only in retrospect.
With that in mind, I cannot withdraw my previous
remark regarding the similarity of Drosnin's code
and the code of which Saba speaks.
