The UNWRA in Vienna published a document re the 1947 relocation
of the Jews which illustrated a British plan to create a jewish state in
or near tunisia, north africa - but that was scrapped in favour of
the current israel.
I wonder if anyone knows why the Tunisian option was not taken ?
my sister worked for the deputy director of UNWRA in 1979, but
her life went fatally wrong when she allegedly heard of some plot
to divert water away from israel.
losing her job for some reason she found herself in London.
the gas fittings that caused the explosion were removed immediately
