time. You still haven't answered my first question. Who is Vialls? I had never
heard of him before.

I suppose that is a possibility which, if it happened, means your line of thinking was responsible for all those deaths when they could have been averted by incapacitating the terrorist. You don't know what my line of thinking is...the Vialls piece was forwarded to provide another POV, an interesting and provocative one at that but not one endorsed by me. I can say without hesitation that after this guy bit the stewardess I'd have helped to subdue him too. But again let us remember that nobody knew he had plastic explosives in his shoes at this time, it wasn't something anyone ever thought about as evidenced by the ease with which he boarded the plane while carrying the explosives and also the "new, improved" pre-boarding searches that now include shoes. It's also debatable whether or not this amount of explosives would bring a plane down, reliable sources say that it would not. Bill. |
