GB was shaking in his wingtips. I'll bet the Japanese PM wasn't the first to witness
GB's queasiness.

If the Dems (or anyone else) liked to project and protect an image, they wouldn't let a
little thing like history defeat them in their efforts. Reading and recognising
history is
not projecting or protecting stupidity; unless, of course, there is no other way to
refute
what you don't want to believe in ("you" indefinitely). This is the same kind of
argument that the religiously emotional get into: "You don't understand so I'm not
wrong".

The point I'm making is when you take the croc tears and the "I feel your pain" and "I
won't send your boys into war" hype away, it always seems to be the Democrats who
wind up starting to get other peoples' kids killed. Jimmy Carter was the only hold-out
on this as the military was still in its "VietNam hangover". The failed attempt at
rescuing the embassy hostages proved this.

Being unintelligent is listening to the politicians in the first place, especially
when they
are sympathetic, empathetic, or just plain old pathetic. Wait for the actions
affecting
people's functioning circulatory systems to dictate what's what.

If the Democratic leadership really, really wanted to improve its image, it'd figure
out
ways to do the jobs without turning them over to the military. This was what made
Maddy "mad", her impression of the military as the all-in-one comprehensive
panaceac curative. This improvement would be right after they implemented a
compulsory national service that enabled the "decision makers" to feel what it's like
to be thousands of miles away from home for weeks, months and years at a time,
not knowing if home will ever be seen again.

This would be a good campaign piece to cripple the Democrats ... pointing out all the
wars they have embroiled the country in, none of which they have ever conclusively
won. And, by none, I mean all of the ones in the previous post and the one now on-
going. UbL didn't wake up in January 2001.
