Mozilla/SeaMonkey can be compiled so it depends heavily on gnome2, but if you compile it yourself, you can compile it against qt, gtk+ or xlib, myself I always disable all gnome2 dependencies, patches back all the default key-combinations (today the "unix" detections makes Mozilla/SeaMonkey to change key-combinations due bugs in gtk2/gnome2, which makes it to differ from MacOS/MSWin/QNX/...). when switching toolbox, you will need to make the same change in many plug-ins too.
