As has been discussed in various forums recently, this OpenBSD sensors

A very Good Idea (tm) :)
What exactly is the "bio port"? What does it do, what areas of the kernel
and userland does it involve, what does it change, why is it a good idea?
How about moving this discussion to the freebsd-arch@ mailing list?
As a reminder, there was a pretty extensive thread on the topic of the sensor
framework on the arch@ mailing list in July, with quite a few substantive
comments made regarding both the design and implementation. People working in
this area should be sure to review that entire thread before joinging in on a
new one.
