Hi Duncan,

Thanks very much for responding to my e-mail.

If it is not too much of trouble, could you please explain the binary build
process? I am looking at the url you sent and I am not sure where to start( to
be honest with you). I will not give up, I will keep looking though. ;-)

Thanks!
-Imam

Hi Imam,

I suggest you start with a binary build of ghc.

You can get the binary for 6.6.1 here:
http://haskell.org/ghc/download_ghc_661.html#x86linux

Or get the latest version:
http://haskell.org/ghc/download_ghc_683.html#x86linux

If you really want to, you can then rebuild from source.

Doing an unregisterised "HC" build is a lot of work and for your
platform it's quite unnecessary.

Duncan
