A couple of things I forgot to mention. First, there's a wiki page about
it here:
http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/wiki/HackageTesting
but more importantly, in order to use it you need to have a
cabal-install which supports the build-dep command. There's a patch to
kludge one in here:
http://www.haskell.org/pipermail/cabal-devel/2010-January/006030.html
(volunteers to tidy it up so it can be applied would be greatly
appreciated!)
