I think that may be part of my problem too. Last night I was able to get it to work without the router, and I noticed the ready light was not flashing, as it had been. I then stopped everything and hooked up the router. I got part way through the router set up and everything suddenly stopped working ie the browser just hung up. I looked over again and then noticed the ready light was blinking again. Cable TV was ok though.
>From then on, when I tried again I couldn't connect to the router. I suspect that it getting hung up in the middle of the set up process resulted in router problems. I haven't tried yet today, but will shut down everything and start all over again with the router in a few minutes, maybe it will work this time. If not, I guess I need to call the netgear support people. So do you have the problem with the ready light blinking a lot?
