Is there a way to evaluate the quality of the signal that is coming out of the wall? Specifically, strength and Signal-to-Noise ratio? If so, how? It would be nice to monitor that signal as my modem dies and comes back to see if there is some correlation.
What you need is a basic signal strength measurement, .. didn't see anything on the RS web site, however,. . if you have any hams locally you might ask one of them if they have any test equipment.
Best bet might to see if you can get Charter to bump your signal at the pole (if it's not max'd out already).
