A friend of mine gave me a CD with a collection of her personal recordings. How can I copy those audio tracks to my hard drive as WAV files? Also, how can I convert those WAV files to a MP3? From what I've read, I need lame to convert WAV to MP3. But an apt-cache search lame shows a lot of items, none of which look exactly like what I'm looking for.
