Good question, but a better one would be why another UNIX/Linux/GNU/Free/Libre/Open Source list in St. Louis? What would be appropriate to post here but not on MOSLUG, or SLUUG discuss for that matter (or vice-versa)? Are we making it harder for people to get help from us by having so many lists? Admittedly, a while ago, SLUUG discuss had more complaining about what people were posting (and complaining about the complaining) than useful posts, but it seems better now (it was so bad I left the list for a year or so). I think it is good to have multiple groups with multiple meetings, but would there be a benefit in consolidating the email traffic? For example, now I get two or three announcements about CWE-LUG and other meetings, one for each local list I am on. Just something to chew on. No offense to anyone intended. dd -- David Dooling _______________________________________________ CWE-LUG mailing list [email protected] http://www.cwelug.org/ http://www.cwelug.org/archives/ http://www.cwelug.org/mailinglist/
