I don't think that really answers my question.  I'm trying to make 2
partitions on the same LaCie 250GB EXTERNAL drive: a windows partition and a
Mac OSX partition.  The drive is USB 2.0 EXTERNAL.  I really don't care if I
can boot from the drive, I just need a way of backing up certain files and
transferring between the two systems occasionally
