Another option is to found the Person's Republic of Robert.

But seriously, these laptops are targeted at people who have barely any
resources. For $100, any USian can get cheapo PC for email and surfin'.
The difference is that this $100 model can take more punishment and
provides an adhoc mesh network for communication. It's a computer of last
resort.
