Glad to see they have gotten a working prototype. They are expected to cost ~$140 out the door this year with falling prices year by year. I'm still skeptical that they can get enough volumes ordered to be practical and financially viable.
But as soon as I heard a certain William Gates was publicly critical of the design and project, I was immediately jumped full on board with the plan. Anything he doesn't like is a sure indicator of success for said thing. I'd like to see about getting a prototype to show around our community and schools, etc. I think they are missing out on an untapped market. However, I also predict in a few years these will be just so much landfill. $25 or less on eBay. Ed > Regards, > - Robert > http://www.cwelug.org/downloads > Help others get OpenSource software.
