Just to clarify, "it" refers to the software not the laptop.

That would be nice.  I think it would bring a lot of younger folks  
into the FLOSS fold.

Maybe.  If I had $100 I doubt I'd spend it on such a laptop.  I'd get  
a bigger bang for the buck buying a desktop system.  But that's only  
because I (we) have access to relatively reliable, cheap  
electricity.  That's probably not the case for the $100 Laptop's  
target audience.

I'd like to believe the folks designing these items have taken that  
into account, but I haven't seen anything on the website that says  
they have or have not.
