It's the old sneaker-net method:

1) copy mdb file to usb stick.
2) modify mdb file using FLOSS on Ubuntu
3) copy mdb file from usb stick to Windows machine

The risk is that the original changed between steps 1 and 3, but that's
easy to test for.

As for modifying anything on the Windows machine, I meant installing
additional software or creating a data source or running a service.
Basically, I'd like to avoid anything that I'd need to have
administrative rights.
