To add to the discussion about government's use of proprietary technology, I thought I'd confirm my voter registration at this site:
http://www.showmeboone.com/CLERK/VRSearchByName.asp?REASON=DEFAULT After entering my name I was taken to a page that lists all my info. Which was good. Although the address to where I vote was provided, there was also a link that said: View Map to Polling Location I clicked on that link and was taken to this page: http://gis.showmeboone.com/viewers/bc_voter_app_v4/unsupported.htm Which says: "Sorry, your browser or platform is not supported in this application." My goodness. I sent them an email.
