Giving your vote to a fringe party will be a total waste, Bob, if the
candidate does not get elected. And as all the main parties seem
indifferent to the injustice Tories and Labour caused by banning
pistols, the only way to ensure that there are more M.Ps prepared to
support our cause in the next parliament is to vote for those that are
pro-shooting irrespective of party denomination.
Brussels had nothing to do with the ban and many European laws are more
liberal than ours. Tories want to stay out of Europe only because
Labour want to get us in. It has nothing to do with what is better for
us and everything to do with scoring points and playing on public
emotions. Leaving aside the billowing Union Jacks, the Empire and the
emotional argument as to whose head is on the money, I have not heard
any compelling economic arguments for pulling out of EU and many sound
economic reasons for staying in as an equal partner, Ecru included!
No nation can be independent of the rest of the world economically or
politically, so we have only to options.
We join them and "dictate" together, or we get dictated to!
