We raise prize money by using an "entry fee" for comps, one recently had
the winner taking home one of the AR15 jobby's. it was an open comp but
the main prize was withdrawn due to not enough entries. what more do you
suggest we offer?
My club has facilities to rival ANY in the country-out to 1000 yds-we
run comps virtually every week, black powder to practical to 1000yd
benchrest.
Admittedly we are fortunate to have long distances over which to shoot,
it's our place so nobody else has priority over our shooting.
Perhaps a little more imagination when arranging courses of fire,
putting more into the sport than you take out, it all makes whatever you
have to offer a little more inviting. In Gunmart one club advertises
FLUSHING toilets...................god help us all.
Think more what you can do for your sport.
