And I totally disagree with the above. I do not believe that any
Minister is going to stick his, her or it's neck out for anyone other
than the Government, or to be more prescise, their own job within
it. If there were Political mileage to be had from *not* allowing
Pistol shooting at the Games she would turn against us in a micro-
second.
Personally I think that British shooters at the Games should either
refuse to shoot, deliberatly mis the targets, refuse to accept
Medals under the GB flag if they win or refuse the medals
altogether.
If this Country and it's Government are not prepared to trust it's
citizens to engage in a perfectly safe and respectable activity then
it does not deserve to bask in any Glory obtained from them.
