From: Thomas A Chandler, [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----Original Message----- From: JTWard01 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> All, I have argued here and elsewhere against a boycott of Smith&Wesson products because I believed signing the agreement with the Clinton administration was the only way S&W could remain in business and still sell handguns to the general public. That may still be true. However, derogatory comments about gun owners made by L.E. "Ed" Shultz, president and CEO of Smith&Wesson have led me to believe that it is Shultz that is the problem. After all, it was Shultz who stated there was absolutely NO pressure from parent company Tomkins Plc. for him to sign the Clinton agreement. And it was Shultz who said death threats he received came from guns owners who "have gun racks in their pickup trucks" and strongly support the Second Amendment. Now, I don't have a pickup truck, but I do support the RKBA, so I propose a boycott against S&W products with the express purpose of forcing Shultz to resign, or forcing Tomkins to fire him. The only way such a boycott will work, however, is if the big wigs at Tomkins' headquarters in England KNOW why their sales are dropping, so if you support a boycott of S&W then write to Tomkins Plc at the following address and tell them so - and tell them why - and ask that Ed Shultz be replaced. Sending a letter to England will cost a bit more than 32 cents, but how much are your guns worth to you?
