kind with talk of self-defence.
If ever it became accepted that we even contemplated using our arms for use
on
intruders then, using the "tar 'em all with the same brush" political
sledgehammer technique which lost us semi automatic rifles and pistols, I
think
I could safely see an end to another great wedge of shooting disciplines.

Correct me if Im wrong ( as if you wouldnt) but I think guns were invented
for self defence / war and because it wasnt every day that they were needed
for these purposes the shooting sports were invented to hone our skills for
when / if it came to the crunch.
In the past they may have been necessary for hunting but Tesco is less time
consuming.
